good point Woo.

There were times when I was working my last job where that was true for me too.

Which is why I think I want to get back into my own business. I can't stand being at the mercy of the man, who doles out his raises in teeny tiny percentage points every year! angered.gif

BUT, the security of a regular job is nice. Kinda miss that!

In fact, I just applied yesterday for a pretty good part time thing in the early mornings. I figure that would keep me floating while I work on stuff.

KEEP YER FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME! clap.gif

Early mornings?  As in stay up all night, or as in getting up early?

I am here- busy as usual. The funeral is tomorrow at 11 and I have a meeting with the boy and our new shrink in the afternoon, so I will no tbe around tomorrow either. Could use your prayers and thoughts though.

Tomorrow will be rough. Funerals always remind me of my mom and 25 years later it still hurts. Also the boy's grandparents offered to pay for him to go to military school next year. It costs $20000! It is far away and neither one of us really wants him to go, but after his grades last year I have to consider the option. I am hoping this will straighten him out. He has been given the choice- counseling and good grades or off you go. But he is 15 and a bit depressive and I am scared that I might have to let someone else take over. I have tried everything to keep him on the right track, but there is only so much I can do. I would never have been able to afford the school, but now that I can, I hope this will work and keep him here and straight.

Miss you all....

Hartz,

It would be getting up early.  I don't think I can do overnights anymore no.gif  This would be from about 4 AM - 8 AM.  It's a simple drive between Kenosha & Milwaukee (about 90 miles round trip) and they pay a flat rate of $80 a day to do it.

It's a company that needs stuff transferred between their Milwaukee & Kenosha locations every day.  I know from past experience that the run will take less time than they allot for, so it should be some pretty good coin for part time work.

Ruby,

You'll be in my thoughts tomorrow.  hmm

I know I couldn't! I am not a morning person. I don't like getting up at 6 but you can forget everything before 6am!

I used to be able to handle third shift.

And I ran a USA Today paper route for about five years in the late 90's to make extra cash.

But no more. I like to sleep when it's dark out now.

I don't know how I ever worked a twelve hour shift and did a 3 hour paper route every morning too. I guess I was too young to know any better.
