We'll be working our way back home today. Nothing really urgent to hurry for unless if we can get back home by 5:00, we can get the dog out of the kennel so she doesn't have to spend another night there.

Hello from IHOP.

We couldn't get in I-80 because it was a parking lot due to an accident or something. We found a way around on 2-lane roads.

We're back. We had a blast! We didn't end up hiking, because we spent all of our time at the little shops in Nashville, and barely even visited a quarter of them.

And we got some old timey pictures taken, it was so much fun! I really like the one of the two of us and of Brian, but I'm not so crazy about mine.

Then we went to dinner at a place called Nashville House (by the way, this is all Nashille, Brown County, IN, not TN) where we had fried biscuits and cole slaw and sassafras tea, and Brian had a ham steak with sweet potatoes and corn and I had turkey and stuffing with mashed potatoes and peas (and I could eat everything and I didn't get any allergic reaction!). It was so good!

Then we went back to our room and walked around the pond, and then took advantage of the hot tub and very comfy bed.

glad ya had a good time! I have been working on a computer issue since last night. Stupid links wouldn't work and I knew it had to do with my computer settings but had no idea as to what. Well I am proud to say that I did it on my own! I was really close to coming for help here.

Well yesterday I tried slicing off my left thumb. cry

I was helping with dinner when I got one of those boxes that are supposed to have perforated areas to open the box and never work...so I took a knife to try to get it started and sliced my thumb pretty good. We have those nice and sharp Miracle Blades II that are a blessing and a curse.

I have balanced the checkbook and I need to do the usual laundry but I am not really feeling all that well or motivated.

actually made it to German Fest here in town today. When you walk in, one of the first things you can get to eat is a PIGS HEAD for $5!!! smile

holy crap, I saw a guy actually eating one too, right out of its aluminum foil wrapper. it was whack! smile

We're back home too.

We got some rain here and the roads were muddy so Grandpa met us in another small town on the highway so we could get the boy. Otherwise, I would have had to came on home and gotten the 4wd to get out there and get him. That saved us a bunch of time (and they don't mind running to town for coffee either).

Now, I'm just waiting on the vet to call that they are there for the evening time of taking care of animals so I can go get the dog.

Wow, Mz . . . look at you all slimed down. You look great!

I'm glad you two had such a good time.
