These aren't the best pics, but all I could do for now. If I use the flash I get a lot of flash reflection. These were taken just in ambient room light and it is a cloudy day. I'll try to get some better pics this week.

My other one is a five string too, so I'm used to that. I was amazed how easy this one plays. It is balanced very well too. No neck dive at all. The string spacing is slightly wider so I'll have to get used to that. I'll just have to play it some more . . . golly, gosh, darn. biggrin.gif

I haven't tried a fretless yet. I'm a long ways away from being ready for that. I love that sliding fretless sound though. That smooth transition when sliding from one note to another is schweet.

oh its brilliant! there is a squeak from fingers sliding sometimes that adds character to the song being played. got to press really hard too!smile

I'd like to learn to play an upright bass, that'd be cool.smile

Yeah, that would be cool too.

I'm feeling even better about the purchase now. When I'm feeling a little naughty, I sometimes cheat on FFR and spend a little time with a bass forum. I showed it off there and asked if I got a good deal and so far every reply has been that I would have been crazy to NOT have brought it home at what I paid for it.

One reply said he works in a guitar store and they have the same model hanging on the wall in their store for more than twice what I paid.

I'm sure that will be the case, but I have needs and until those needs are met here, I will continue to see the bass forum on the side now and then.
