My own goodbye for now!

Hey everyone!

I'm gonna be disappearing for quite a while!  I have alot going on in life at the moment...some good...some bad!!

I've got two things happening which require me to leave Weipa frequently at the moment.  The first...my 3 year old nephew was diagnosed a week ago with an incurable disease called "Lupus" so I am going to go help out my sister a bit with her 2 other children while they go in search of treatment and the other issue that came up when we found out this news is that my mum has gone missing!  She has been missing for a month now!!  We thought she was away on holidays but we have been getting messages of concern coming back now!  I am going on my own search to help find my mum so wish me luck!

I may not be around for a while but someday soon I will stop in to say hello!  I'll miss you all and will think of you.  If you would like to say hello contact me on my myspace or email me!  Take care everyone!  cry

Gosh so sad. I will pray that your sister can get some medical help for her son. I pray that you will find your mom. And most of all that you have the strength to get through all this. We are always here. I am praying for you and I think you know that you mean a lot to me!

Thanks guys!  You all mean so much to me!  smile

I have been slowly going insane over the past week in being up here isolated from everything going on.  It's hard to be alone up here!

I am now heading to central australia to try and track my mother down.  I am working closely with the police and have to fly out there.  A new adventure for me...not a nice one but once again I am heading into unfamiliar territory!

I hope everything goes well and we do find her!  And I also hope we find treatment for my gorgeous little nephew!  At the moment he has lost all skin over his body and he is in hospital right now.  cry

Oh my, just caught up with this thread and I know I may have missed you now, but Jules, I hope that everything works out.

Firstly that your mum turns up. You must be very frightened perhaps...I can barely imagine how awful you must be feeling...I would be in shock I think and very worried - and that's without being particularly close to my mum...

Secondly - your young nephew... I pray that he will soon be stabilised and comfortable again...and that the rest of the family learn to cope with this condition without too many traumas along the way. At least kids can be very accepting and resiliant - they themselves can be the inspirational ones here...

Finally - Jules!...Don't forget to look after yourself in all this - you'll be no good to anyone if you push yourself too far...take good care of yourself too...

I won't be around for 2-3 weeks now either (well, here tomorrow briefly...) due to holidays but I shall not forget and will pray and hope to come back to better news.
