I guess they did run a lot of re-runs because I think my brothers were still watching it into the mid to late 70's. I remember how sad I was the day Alan Hale died. I know he was in other stuff, but to me, he was always "the Skipper".
Ghost, just off the top of my head, they did make several Gilligan movies with one resulting in them getting off the island but if I remember right they were going on one last cruise together and all ended up back there. I heard on tv land that Gilligan's Island has never been off a day since it was aired. It plays in syndication all over the world. I will see if I can find something on it and get back....

TV Land had a Carol Burnett weekend a few years ago and showed over 48 hours of nothing but the Carol Burnett Show and I have all of them on VHS ( yes I still have a VHS player ) so I watch them every now and then I love it when crack up in the scenes
oh I remember laughing so hard as a kid at how badly Harvey Corman and Tim Conway would just try and crack eachother up. laughing near tears. I remember one where conway was a barber with a shaving blade and corman in the chair with shaving cream on; I think conway was trying to do an as blind as Mr Magoo thing, and corman had to sit there and take it. he was turning purple!!!

The Monkees (I know - you're shocked) Planet of the Apes Alien Nation V Buffy the Vampire Slayer Angel The X-Files The Waltons (Even though it makes me cry all the time) Roseanne Chicago Hope (Mandy Patinkin rules) ER Fame (Even though it would make me cry all the time) Seinfeld (Funniest show ev-er!) South Park (Funniest animated show ev-er!) Starsky & Hutch Charlie's Angels Wonder Woman
All In the Family was amazing, too. Just Carol's acting alone! That man could say more with just his eyes than any actor I can think of.
The Wonder Years is also excellent. (also makes me cry all the time...)

and many more from the past!
Today's list is crazy
House Supernatural Grey's Anatomy Lost Rescue Me How I Met Your Mother Two and a Half Men Bones I am sure I am missing some

WOW! Another "V" fan? How cool! Nightmare-smightmare, Freddy-shmeddy - To me, Robert Englund will always be the sweet & innocent Willie.

I like how you think, Woo. I just bought Rescue Me Season 1 and I am soooo excited! Of course, I probably won't get to watch it until it gets colder out. I do still love Buffy, and I used to love watching V and Wonder Woman back in the day. I would add to that list, for both the past version and the present, Battlestar Galactica!

Oh they soooo should do that! Look how cool Battlestar Galactica turned out when it was redone! I always thought V was way ahead of the game, but I never thought of them reviving the series...good thinking!

also if anyone is wondering why "Angel" isn't on my list, it is only because I have not been able to watch it. The last time I tried the DVR began deleting them so I was missing too many and I gave up! I now I have a new DVR and I will try the next time around.

I do find that really strange. Why don't you get the boxsets? You can usually find them used at FYE for a decent price...

I am not sure. I seldom get control of the remote and my hubby doesn't watch too much sci-fi
DIANA WAS A BAD AZZ!
They should really redo this show. It was before it's time.

Yes, she was. Before that she was on my soap opera. A very sexy lady.
Actually, I talked to Marc Singer and Andrew Prine a few years ago at a Chiller Convention, and they told me they were working on a sequel that should have most of the original cast. Marc Singer seemed really excited about it. Hopefully, that's still in production...

i don't usually buy box sets before seeing things. And I would have never thought to look at FYE because they usually are the highest prices for everything else I have looked for in there. But I shall keep my eyes open now.
