Most stores in Oklahoma are having the Tax free day for everything school wise. That also includes bedding, Houswares and clothes etc. I get to be in the thick of it at Dillards as we are doing it to. lucky me

Our tax free weekend is three days too.

Our taxes vary- food yes, more for prepared food- in and out of the grocery store- and more for non food items. They vary from 4.5 to 14.5! Restaurants with alcohol get slammed!

I Think ours is a 6% tax all around.

Just curious, a bottle of beer in a restaurant here is usually $2.00, what is it anywhere else?

One of the girls in our office brought in nanner bread today and left it on the breakroom table for everyone. I had a piece and a little while later I went back in to get a cup of coffee and noticed a tub of butter sitting beside it this time. I was gonna snag me another piece and picked up the butter and noticed the expiration date was Nov 16 2005. I went out and asked the receptionist where the butter came from. He said I got it out of the refrigerator. He said he had a big ol spoon full on his bread. He thought the bitter taste was from the walnuts in the bread! Poor sap, I told him butter usually has a shelf life of six months so the stuff you ate was only 27 months old! rofl.gif

Hey all, I spent the day in Charlestown RI, at my aunt's beachouse, I'm a bit sunburnt. Hung out on the deck all day overlooking the water, and went on a cruise on a boat.... I'm wiped. TGIF everyone.
