This was so cool!!! I checked in to Freeze-Frame and decided to try out the new request line...I did the Chicago-Hard to say I'm sorry (love that tune)...and then checked to see if Joey Scarbury's Greatest American Hero was in the Request Group...It was...so I clicked it too...


Well I did that With 1 out in the top of the ninth in game 4 of the World Series...


Chicago came on with boston only 3 outs away from the title...


Scarbury came out with one out left...


and just as the chorus began "Believe it or not...I'm Walking on Air..." Boston Got the final out and won thier first WS since 1918... Curse of the Bambino...BUSTED!!!!


...What Timing 


Boston Red Sox...Greatest American Heroes (well at least in terms of sports, our fighting boys really deserve that title)

Greatest American Sports Heroes indeed!


I had called it a Boston/St. Louis series back before the playoffs started, but I had predicted Boston in six.  Everyone thought I was nuts because of the Cardinals offense.  But they always say good pitching stops good hitting, and with Schilling & Pedro guaranteed 4 starts they'd be tough to beat.


Never thought they'd sweep though!


Hey!  I'm glad you're making use of the auto-request feature.  Like I said, I'll be adding a lot more songs in the future, but first I'm going to focus on the design, it's kind of just thrown out there right now.

I think the Cardinals just ran out of steam, which was the main reason I picked Boston to win.


The cards played the best baseball possible for like four straight months before the playoffs, I didn't think they'd be able to keep up the pace.


It's a real shame for them.  You hate to win 105 games in the season and then get swept in the World Series, I'll bet there's some very unhappy players in St. Louis tonight.  But atleast they can say "We'll get em next year".  They're not in the crappy boat our Brew Crew is.  HELL, the crew doesn't even have a boat, it's more like one of those rafts that a group of cubans would throw together to try and come to America on!


Damn Brewers!

I HATE THE SOX.  I wanted the Cardinals to win it all.  That was one of the most boring World Series I can remember.  A real let down after such a great group of other playoff games.

I did get it the day it came out, But I have only watched the 200 MPH fast-ball. I've actually been trying to finish up Friends (only 3 episodes left in season 9, the final season isn't out yet) & Stargate SG-1 ( I've only got 3 Episodes left in Season 7, But we have ALL of season 8 TEVO'd, So I still have to watch that) 


I just got a PSP and a 1 GB memory card, i've been downloading dvd episodes to the card & watching them at luchtime, just to get away from my PC, so I think I may do GAH next

How you finding the PSP then Mo, we don't get them till September over here but I can't wait!! is it any good?

LOVE it....but i will say...after the first slew of titles...I thought theyed keep coming....but there hasn't been much after the first wave...I'm looking forward to some of the holiday titles though....but the difference is like looking at a Super Nintendo (Game boy Advance) and then an XBOX (PSP)...the graphics are just that much better...


that being said...don't throw away thew the GBA...the PSP SUX in the sun....ever try to watch a TV screen in sunlight? same problem...you can't....so use your GBA in the sun and your PSP at Night....
