Gonna be another busy day for me...out in the 95 degree heat and 95% humidity...oh well that's Florida in the Summer!

gah, can I just go back to bed? My sinuses or something is just a mess. I can't stop sneezing and I have some congestion. We are gonna try to get out of here an hour early since we have overtime from another day. (they slashed OT so supposed to comp it)

I had a HORRIBLE morning. Left the house with no slip, no make up and crying. Also I took a Zyrtec instead of my thyroid pill. Someone moved the bottles around. So now I am sleepy too...

Sorry you are crying, Ruby. I doubt it helps, but I left with no slip or makeup too.

I've been staying up too late every night this week watching videos. I stumbled across the site expertvillage.com. Lots of good informational videos. I've been watching bass playing techniques videos and trying out what I learn as I watch them. Its so much fun, its hard to stop and go to bed when I should. They have videos on lots of different subjects. You might find something you like there too.

After the dew drys up some, I need to mow here at the office. I mowed at home yesterday. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate mowing? I had an Overstock.com gift card from my credit card points so I ordered a pair of the "isolator" type of ear plugs. Hopefully they will isolate enough that I can use them while mowing and listen to a podcast or some music to help break the boredom of going around, and around, and around, and around. With regular ear buds, I have to turn them up too loud to hear over the mower noise. A few times, I used regular buds and then put my noise canceling ear muffs over that, but those are too hot to wear in this weather.

Howdedly doodely everyone! It's a beautiful day here! I slept in until 8:00 got up made little A some breakfast, sat and drank a cup of joe and mixed up a batch of homemade biscuits and gravy all from scratch. Now I think I will walk around the shady yard for a bit and then take Little A to the park to play while I sip on a nice cold lemonade. smile.gif

Oh, Grandma's sick today so I stayed home. Have a great day!

Ugh, what a day so far.

It started out ok, but then I started mowing. I was about 1/2 hr into it and my mower started running very poorly. Time before last when I mowed, it did the same thing so I took it to get repaired. "Yup, you need the carburetor rebuilt". So I had them do that. Today, it started doing the same thing again. It seemed to me like it was vapor locking. So, I got it back in the shop and took the front hood completely off to allow it to stay a little cooler. From that point on, it ran just fine.

It took a lot longer to mow because it was over due, and even now, the heavier grass is still wet down in the bottom because of this morning's heavy dew. So, I had to run slower, answer a few messages, etc.

After I got the mowing done, I started cleaning out the van. Nice warm day to be working inside the van. I got it all vacuumed out and then I soaked all the upholstery down with pet deodorizer Febreeze. It smells a little "doggy" in there on hot days. Hopefully this stuff will help cure that.

Tomorrow morning, I'll wash the windows on the inside. They are too hot to wash now.

Now that I'm done playing, with that stuff, its time to get back to some real work.

Well Little A and I stopped by McDonalds and grabbed a Happy meal for her and we headed to the park. I took her out of her car seat and let her eat her Happy meal in the front passenger seat. She couldn't wipe the big grin off of her face cause she thought she was all grown up. She ate and then we went and played on the slide and swings. I didn't have any lemonade but I did have me a chocolate shake. Now I think it's nap time before we go to Sturgis. smile.gif

Well I finally made it to the forum today even if it is late in the day.  Took my oldest daughter out to the college to buy her books for classes which start in two weeks.  Then stopped to order my youngest daughter a varsity jacket in her school's colors so she'll have it when cool weather gets here.  After dinner, I headed over to Walmart to stock up on school supplies.  I can't believe school will be starting in a couple of weeks. 

I'm hoping I'll sleep better tonight.  Last night I had a bad case of insomnia.....was wide awake until 5:00 this morning.  hmm
