I renewed my VIP too, to "lock in the low rates", and found out it came with a $3 penalty. :(

Really? That stinks!

They really jacked up the VIP rates didn't they! I was surprised at how much higher they were going.

I appreciate you staying a VIP though Mz.

This year the VIP's paid for nearly half of the cost of next years lower broadcasting package.

Well, their email said if you renew your contract, you get to keep the lower rates. So I followed all the links thinking it really wouldn't change anything since I've already got it set up to charge my card. But what they did was refund a prorated amount and then charge for the "new" (unchanged) rate, meaning I had to pay and extra 3 bucks. But, it pushes my renew date back, so I really don't lose it, but I would've rather done it by my old date so it worked out even.

If I wasn't given the option of the lower rates, I wouldn't have stayed a VIP.

I let my VIP expire because of the uncertainty of the whole internet radio thing. I didn't want to renew only to have Live365 close down two months later. I may become a VIP again now if it seems like Live365 and FFR will be around a while yet. I really do miss the VIP player, I didn't have near the problems with it that I have with a free player.

Oh, ouch, I wish we had brought this up sooner. If you sign up to be a VIP now Web, it'll cost you a couple extra bucks a month.
