It was pretty good.  My husband is up at our cottage......he went up yesterday and won't be back till late tomorrow or Tuesday.  I'm hoping for Tuesday, haha.  My youngest daughter is still away at band camp until next Saturday, so it was just me and my oldest girl at home today.  We just got back from dinner......had Chinese.  It was yummy!

Is E excited about staying with her Grampa?

I love Chinese. We had chicken cooked on a beer can! It was very moist!


E is happy cause they have a pool and an elevator in their house, a dog and they are blocks from the beach. Oh yeah and High School Musical 2 is coming!

Whoa, sounds like she's going to have a great time!  All the things a kid could want.....dog, pool, not far from the beach, and best of all an elevator to play in!! 

I have one of those beer can cooker thingys for chicken but haven't tried it out yet.  Lots of people have told me this is the best way to cook chicken.  I'll have to try it.  I keep forgetting the thing is in the cupboard.  hmm

It is a great way to cook chicken. He bought it years ago and finally a couple of onths ago someone left some beer on the boat- so I borrrowed a can!  Yum!


Chicago is in 6 weeks. This is a business trip to  VA.


Jack? That is a two drink max for me too!wink

Ruby, is Chicago business related too?  I'm hoping to go there in a couple of months with my brother.  He's been after me to go with him for some time now, so I told him maybe in October I'd be able to get away for a few days.  We're planning to catch the Amtrack out of East Lansing.  I've never been on a train before.....think it'd be cool to travel that way.  smile
