I'm grumpy. I got up early on a Saturday because Brian was going to work a half day, but now he has a headache so he's not going in. So now I'm up, I'm tired, and I also have a headache (which I'm sure will go away in an hour or so). Normally, since I'm up and dressed, I'd just head out to Farmer's Market, but a neighbor wanted to go along with me, so I have to wait (I'm not going to wake her up too).
I got woke up by a phone call at 7:00 am to news that my aunt had died during the night. They are thinking the funeral will be Wednesday and I am to be a casked bearer. She really is better off now, her quality of life was very low the way she was living.
We are trying to get ready to go see Mom-in-law. We will probably do a little school clothes shopping for the boy. He doesn't have any fall/winter clothes that still fit him.
My weekend is starting off good. I'm childless, so last night I watched my Titans win their first game of the preseason, while trying to get all of my paperwork pertaining to the divorce organized in a findable order.
This morning, met my parents for coffee and oatmeal at our local coffee shop, now, I'm back home, doing laundry, and getting checking statements transferred to an easy to read summary excel spreadsheet.
Tonight I'm going to a friend's house for a birthday party. They're grilling the hamburgers and I'm taking my homemade salsa and chips. We usually end up playing a card game called Nerts when this bunch gets together. FUN, FUN, FUN!!!
Hi everyone. I went to the Patriots game last night. I was excited to go to Gilette Stadium, and I got free tickets. But just about 10 minutes before the game started a storm came over head, and it poured buckets.
Now I know why I like baseball better.
I was soaked to my skin, cold, and ended up leaving at half time.
