So I went to FYE .....

the end of last week to check out prices for Angel The Series. $60 bucks a season. So I am still Angel-less cry

But I did check. And of course we looked at Buffy. Season 7 had to diferent kinds. One said that it was the complete season (cost more) and one just said Season 7. We stared at the back of the boxes and couldn't figure out why. confused

I gotta get Angel yet too!

I'm almost done with Buffy.  I'm not sure if I'll keep it after I'm done though.  I can't imagine I'll rewatch it because I'd wind up getting stuck watching all 144 hours again smile.gif

Oh, and by the way Woo. Check out www.deepdiscount.com for your DVD needs. They've got the best prices on the net.

AND, if you wait until Thanksgiving, they always have a one week Christmas sale where everything is 20% off, which is HUGE when you're buying box sets and seasons.

This is what you could be doing today, listing your DVD's on Peerflix Riggs.. I've noticed you still have all ZERO's after your Haves, and Wants......

I highly recommend you go in order of broadcast, Riggs, and watch Angel integrated with Buffy like it's supposed to be.  Because the storylines cross sometimes.

Here is a used Season 2 for $22, Woo.  That's not bad.

I'm Buffying this weekend!  Whoo-hoo!  Read in my journal recently that I saw my first episode on 4/27 2002.  (ACE Frehley's birthday.)  It's been a while!

I know.

I'm kind of torn on it. After watching five seasons in about four months, the characters almost feel like old friends.

Anya, Xander & Spike are awesome and someday I might want to watch them again, but I keep thinking that since it's pretty much an ongoing story I'll never have the time to watch it all again.

There's always new stuff coming out that peaks my interest more than rewatching something old.

When I finish season seven I guess I'll just have a tough decision to make.

LS,

It's already too late, I think Angel has been going on for about a season and a half of what I've seen so far.

I could tell there were a lot of storylines that intermingled. One episode they didn't even have Buffy in until the end and they said she was in LA helping Angel on a case.

Then she came back the next week and he was on the show talking about what they did the previous week. hmm.gif

That's what I'm talking about. So put Buffy away, and do Angel til you catch up - problem solved. smile.gif

lol. Except for that little issue of the extra cost to buy the Angel series.

I was kinda thinking I'd get 100 or so on ebay for the Buffy Box set, then I could turn around and buy the Angel box set.

But we'll see. If DeepDiscount.com has a good sale on Angel I'll just pony up the cash for it.

Now LS, are you taking into account that I DON'T enjoy seeing Angel without his shirt on?

Would it STILL be a great show from a straight males perspective?

One of the things I love most about watching buffy is watching Buffy, Willow & Anya biggrin.gif

Eww - I don't find him attractive AT ALL, so no, that's not it.  Besides, you have Charisma Carpenter!  (Just try and pretend the tattoos aren't there, like I do hmm

charisma-carpenter-5-2.jpg

And if that doesn't do it for you (Like say if you're DEAD or something...) there are other attractive girls on "Angel."

Okey-dokey!  Enjoy your "manly man" - so long as I can get the prettyboys, I'm a happy girl.  I'm sure we can work out some arrangement...  smile.gif

Oh, one more thing on "Angel", Riggsy--
It's darker and less "girlie" than "Buffy."  By that, I don't mean less girls IN the show - just less "teenie".  I know some guys like it better because of that.
