I am so excited! I have $108 left from Christmas money that I am gonna use for this. Then after my husband telling me that we don't have an extra $100 lying around, he then caved and said that I could get them all so that I won't pout! I was trying to figure out if I was gonna just get all of Buffy or get all of Angel and a few Buffy with my money. Then he looked at stuff and said go deposit your money in my account and we will transfer stuff and you can get both!

Now I just hope they have them all!

Aww thanks! My husband said that he gets to go hunting and that costs money- so he doesn't mind this. smile

Anyway I got my email confirmation and they are all available for pickup. So I will just have to wait for Angel Season 5 to be shipped to my house. That was the only one I knew they didn't have at the store.

Well this did not go as smoothly as planned. Went to BB to get the items. They are missing Buffy Season 2 and Angel Season 3. The person in charge says they will get them shipped there from another store. My husband tries to use his credit card for the rest and it is denied. This makes no sense we had transfered all needed monies! However I don't know if y'all heard but we had like 3 tornadoes go thru Michigan Friday night just before picking these up. So we thought maybe there was a glitch in the system. So my husband uses our debit card so we can leave. This is now causing us problems with upcoming bills. So he needs to to call the bank and get it all straightened out. What a pain! I did start watching Buffy from the beginning last night though. I used the computer since he was watching something else. I only had time for 1 episode though. smile

I have met Doyle. I did see a few episodes from Season 1 from the DVR- including the sad one with him. cry

But I noticed it was skipping episodes and quit. But it will be awhile if I don't get the rest of my Seasons pretty fast!

Bad as it sounds I was not a big season 6 fan. Season 7 was one of my fav and actually my fav season was season 5 with Glory. However I also liked the episode Hush where everyone loses thier voices.

Sorry that things went wrong Woo but I hope you enjoy them. I am back to season 7 for Buffy and Angel will be watched within the next few weeks.

Ok so here is the conclusion to this whole mess over the dvds:

I kept checking our credit card online because he has not had time with court and all to contact the bank. Yesterday a charge from Best Buy shows up for the whole amount! I come home and show him and he is pissed off because we have now paid for them twice. Because the card would not work supposedly we had paid by debit. So in the middle of a t-storm he decides to go to BB. We get there and we don't see anyone we dealt with. Ok- this is gonna be bad. The 1st guy says it's over his head and calls a manager. The manager tries to argue some saying that the charge was from setting up the order online. Which is not what they said on Friday. They said it doesn't get charged until they swipe the card in-store. The other problem is that nothing is showing that our order was completed. (We took all the order back with us) My husband spots a manager we dealt with and he gets called over but he really doesn't remember but he tells her to act as if we are there to get the order and then return it all to get the card charge removed. So then I address the 2 seasons that were supposed to be shipped over from another store for me. The lady gets an attitude and says "we don't do that" and she is just disgusted that this girl that rang us up did that. But she was told to do that by the same guy who just told this lady how to fix our charge! She does look for the dvds and can't find them and sends this other girl to look in the back. A guy comes up with them and we pay for them. I am guessing that they were put on the shelf! I was so gonna be po'd if they didn't have them. So on the drive home we are trying to figure everything out and we realize that there is a credit from Best Buy for 1 season on our credit card statement. So now we are thinking that the one season I was having shipped to my house was canceled! I accepted it and figured that at least it was Angel's last season and we would just get it later. When we got the mail that dvd was there. smile

So we got one for free through all the hassle. My husband said that's what they get for all the trouble they caused us! lol
But I officially have them all now!

Sorry you had so much trouble. I've always been really pleased with Best Buys online order / store pickup program.

And they're NOT supposed to charge you until they swipe the card upon pickup.

we really don't like BB. Don't ever get insurance/waranty on anything electronic because they won't honor it! But it was a good deal and I had to do it. If they would have had all the seasons that they computer said that they had then I would have been very pleased with the service. Everything was quick and easy until they didn't have stuff and didn't know how to have us pay and such.

This infuriates me. I hate how bad customer service has become. When I go to a store, and see this kind of incompetence, it drives me crazy. And that happens a lot these days. I feel like the bar setting keeps going lower. Although I wasn't well paid when I worked at my record stores, I was always at my best, and gave my all. Oh yeah - and I wasn't rude to the customers. furious

I agree. Especially in big box stores. There's been times when I'm checked out by a cashier and think, "They really don't seem thrilled to be here," and then see their picture as employee of the month.

the other day my husband went to get gas. He normally uses our debit card but this time planned to pay cash. The outside machine asks for his rewards card and he inserts it and it tells him to start pumping gas. The cashier comes over the speaker snottily saying he must pay inside first because she can't see his plate. He was gonna storm in there and demand to know where the sign outside was that said PAY FIRST UNLESS USING A CREDIT CARD, but he calmed down before entering. But then she wiped out the whole thing including his rewards number and he got no discount. But he didn't go back in. He may have hurt her.

I've really come to notice over the last few years that at Drive thru's, or inside stores at cash registers, that while I say "Thank you" EVERY transaction (when they hand me my food or my change, etc.) only about HALF the time does the clerk thank me!

I've also found A LOT of clerks at Best Buy that seem absolutely disinterested in what they're doing or in their customers.

I always try to tell myself that maybe they're just having a bad day, but there seems to be an awful lot of bad days going around! furious

Yeah, nobody wants cash anymore. A few weeks ago I went to the gas station, pulled out the nozzle, and somebody had put it back in with the thing down that keeps it depressed so I got sprayed. Then the lady tells me I have to prepay, and she was very rude about it. So I can understand your husband's frustration.

I've had cashiers not even look up at me once during the entire transaction. Seriously, they could've just waited on Angelina Jolie and not have noticed.
