Electric Lawnmowers?

I saw a neighbor today fighting with an electric lawnmower & it occured to me- I have, ever since I was a child, saw people who own electric lawn mowers go through an absolute war with them. WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE ELECTRIC LAWN MOWERS?

It seems they cut out on a whim, you always have to look out for the annoying extention cord, you are limited by the length of your cord, you have to make sure the cord isn't being dragged accross the flowers, etc it just doesn't seem reasonable.

These days, the argument could be made that its a small way to help save the environment, I guess. But generations of people have always battled with electric lawn mowers....

Plus I find their high-pitched whine to be way more annoying than the hum of a briggs and stratton motor.....blankstare

My grandma uses an electric. She has a really small yard. She uses the electric because she's 84 years old and the electric doesn't have to be started, and is light.

I hate it. When I go mow for her, I take my own mower. I'd rather hassle with loading/unloading my own than mess with her dinky little electric thingey.

I don't think I've ever seen an electric lawnmower.
