I have to have the marker type pens, rollerball pens- extra fine works best for me too. I write a lot right now, hope that will change soon though to more computer stuff.

I like mechanical pencils.

No really, I'm not just being obstinate. I like the feeling of writing with lead, and I like the non-permanent-ness of it. I really like the one I have right now. It's an ad specialty item, I'm sure I can find a picture of it. I like it because it's thin as a regular pencil and has no clip, so I can put it behind my ear.

If I must use a pen, I really do prefer gel pens.  I like my Dr. Grip pen.  When it comes to ballpoint, I like BiC Clic.

We never have to buy pens here in the office, wholesalers bring a ton of them. Right now I am using one from Aim Investments. The kind that leaks in your pocket!

or maybe it's because I like them so much that it just seems that way.

I don't generally like click pens because it seems they are either the big fat ones, or they have the clip on them, or both. The cap pens let me have a nice, thin pen with no clip rubbing on my hand.

Oh my god - pens are one of my favorite things in the world.  I have tons of them.  I have the fine kind for when I write in my diary, because the spaces are small.

For regular writing, I enjoy switching off between all kinds - gel, regular medium point, rollers.  I love my FFR pen too, of course. 

I have all kinds in all colors, and am basically just obcessed with them.  I could easily spend an hour just browsing through Staples or Office Max.  And if I buy one that I like, I will be on a high for weeks.  no.gif

I'm addicted to office supplies too! I love buying pens and bound journals.

I do agree with you about fat pens Web. Unless it's a Dr. Grip, I prefer little pens. And unless it's a Dr. Grip, I prefer pens without a grip. I don't know how many click pens exist without a clip though. I just checked BiC, and it appears that they don't have any.

lol, I am not a stapler thief. I used to be the one running around asking that. Made a spot in the drawer for it now. I noticed my husband has done the same!biggrin

I am currently in love with the Stadtler 1.6 Maxim pens. They're tough to get, though.

My sister works at Jefferson Wells and she got me a fancy rollerball pen they give out to clients.  I LOVE IT.  My favorite pen ever.

My favorite pens are usually a little thicker, and I like if their case is metal.

My Mom was given a Pen & Pencil set from Potowatami when she was made a member of the Solstace club.  It's like a $125 set in a leather case.  She gave them to me but I never use them.  They're so big it's like trying to write with a cigar in your hand.

I have a couple of pens that were given to me as gifts, but I don't know who makes them or what kind they are.  They have an all metal body, skinny, you have to twist them in the middle for the point to come out, and they're a fine point pen.  I love a fine point because my handwriting tends to be kind of large and with a fine point it looks nice and neat.

I'm a bit picky. For some things I have to have a mechanical pencil, refillable with an eraser, medium barrel, .5 mm lead and a soft grip. For pens I tend to prefer gel, .5 mm tip, black ink, medium barrel and soft grip. I'm not too picky about brands, it just has to write smooth and solid and not appear to blotchy or easily smeared. I hate gel pens that aren't quick-drying! Wow, did I just write a personal ad for the perfect pen? laughing.gif "SWF seeks ultra-fine point black ink pen..."
