Hello all! Well I am solo today. My husband still is in court in deliberation. I hope to see him soon. That would suck to get out at noon and still have to come to work. You spend more time driving than working. I really need to focus on working today. I haven't got jack done this week.

I keep trying to hint that we need to watch some Buffy episodes and he is acting like he is less than thrilled. So pretty much being blown off. Well this morning he asks me a question about Buffy because he is watching the one that is playing on cable!!! I could just smack him. evileye

Happy Friday all!!! I'm heading up to our cottage this afternoon for the holiday weekend. Traffic will be awful since it's the last big bang of the summer, but I only have a 2 1/2 hour drive so hopefully I'll be off the expressway before the traffic really starts getting on my nerves. The lake association is sponsoring a boat parade on Sunday so the girls and I plan to decorate our boat and join in the fun. I'm looking forward to getting out of town for a few days! smile

I just started season six yesterday. I really wanna get through these things asap so I can unload em'.

On my own side-note. I have decided ot just sell the box set when I'm done. As much as I love the characters I just can't envision myself ever going back and rewatching the show.

It's not like "Friends" or "How I Met Your Mother" or even another hour long show like "Boston Legal". All of those can be watched over and over because each show typically stands alone. But with Buffy, I think I'd feel like I had to watch the whole seven years over again because the storyline is so important to each episode. When am I gonna have another 150 hours to kill to watch it again?

that sounds nice Sandy! We are going up to his parents house after the wedding reception Saturday. They live around Tawas.

JR- What you have in your hands is a cult classic. Buffy is truly immortal! I can't tell you how many times I catch an episode playing in the morning and I just smile remembering what has happened or what is about to happen. I am gonna be so happy to have something to help cheer me up when I am down or sick. The only reason I am starting from the beginning is because I have yet to see Angel and I want to (as LS suggested) watch it in order.

Happy Friday.

Tomorrow and Sunday are our big annual Nebraska kite fly. I am kind of bummed though, my kite buddy, Kevin (I've posted pictures with him in them before) that lives about two hours from here isn't coming this year. He usually comes and spends Saturday night with us. It is bad because I will miss him, but on the other hand, I will have the freedom of doing only what I want and staying as long as I want. I've heard they are changing some organizational things this year, we'll see how it works out.

I decided I probably won't take any pictures this year . . . . pffft, yeah, right!

Oh, I forgot that it might work out that I get to meet one of my favorite customers on Monday. There is a web designer in Denver that hosts a lot of sites with me. He has to go to Lincoln this weekend and may be going back home on Monday. We will be in Kearney (right by I-80) on Monday to visit my mom-in-law. We are going to see if it will work out that we are there at the same time and can meet up somewhere. I've done so much with him that I want to meet him just like I'd like to meet many of you.
