Worst date ever in high school

O.K., since we have the prom song discussion going, what about the worst date you ever went on in high school?  I know, this could open up a lot of wounds, but I would love to hear it.  (I swear I'm not a sadist.)

The worst one I ever went on was a setup with my best friend and her boyfriends best friend.  We doubled.  The guy showed up in a smiley face shirt with a bullet through it and as we were driving home, literally stuck his head out the window and howled at the moon.  It was the first date that I ever went on, was only a sophomore and he scared the heck out of me.  Needless to say, we did not go out again.

Trish-

I personally want to thank you for taking the initiative and starting some new threads! Once Freeze Frame radio is solidly established & the word spreads like wild-fire on how cool of a station it is, you will long be entrenched as one of the originals!

Worst date in high-school....hmmmm freshman year going on a blind date to go see Ghost-Busters with this girl who was the best friend of my buddy's girlfriend. She had a mustache that was darker than mine.

Hey JD!

That's sorta wierd, my story kind of involves Ghostbusters too!  So it musta been around the same time!

I think I was a sophmore, I was 16 or 17, and for the first time ever (only time ever in fact) I had a girl ask ME out.  She saw me in the lunch room (we had talked a few times before) and I had my keys sitting next to my lunch tray, for some reason I had a ton of keys.

She asked if I wanted to go see Ghostbusters at the Paradise theater over the weekend and I said ok, then she asked if I'd pick her up at a certain time and I told her I didn't have a car.  She was like "Oh, I saw all those keys, I figured one was a car key.  Why don't we just forget it." and she walked away!

DOH!  It was a non-date!  WORSE than a bad date, A NON DATE!

Needless to say that weekend I started my search for an auto :)

OK, This is a little before High school, more like 5th grade, but hey, this was like a First, first date, (mom & dad were along, but it was the first time I'd asked a girl I liked out somewhere...so hey it was a date to me...or would have been)

I wanted it to be so cool, we were going to see Back to the Future Part 2 On opening night...but when we got there it was sold out for the 7PM show...So I begged and pleaded with the 'rents to let us stay out til th 9PM show, but they refused, and said we had to get the girl home by 10...they wouldn't even call her parents to see if it was ok, they just said no....

so what super awesome movie did we see instead of BTTF2 (by the way, that trilogy has my most favortie movies of all time)...

All Dogs Go To Heaven.... I still hate that movie....

I was so embarassed, and we never went out again...

to this day, I buy all of my tix ahead of time to make sure I get into opening night shows w/o the sell out

I think I can top everyone's worst date.

I must have been a freshman in H.S. It was my first "official" date.  I wasn't feeling well, but didn't want to cancel.  We went to a movie, then back to his place.  We were sitting around listening to the radio, when all of a sudden.......

I chucked on his foot.  Talk about embarrassing.  I didn't talk to the guy for months after that.

Tammers, you have my sympathy.  Any time you vomited in school or around any of your peers was traumatic.  Why is it that I can't remember what I wore to work last Tuesday, but I can remember every time that I vomited in high school (Thank God, it was only once in Algebra class)?  What is up with that?

My sister is that way.  She decided to wax my mother's eyebrows one time and got the wax too hot.  When she ripped it off, she took skin with it and died laughing.  We got stuck in an intersection in the old grocery getter once and she was laughing her head off because I was getting so frustrated and the whole time I'm hitting her and telling her to shut up.  I got out of the car to push it out of the road and it wouldn't budge.  When I went to tell her that it wouldn't move, she said "Oh, my foot was on the brake." and she laughed and laughed.  Amazingly enough, I didn't beat her to death when we were kids, but it was close a couple of times.

That sounds like stuff my sister would do.  Course I got pretty good about dishing it back.  It wasn't so funny coming from the other side of the spectrum.
