I was going to buy a car charger from Sprint for my new cell phone, but they wanted $30.

I thought I could find a better price than that so I went to MyPoints (thanks again Ruby, that was the best tip of them all!  I already have 23,000 points!) and from there shopped at Overstock.com.

Besides getting some points for shopping there they had a kit that included a car charger, another home charger AND a second battery for the phone.  Total price?  FOURTEEN NINETY NINE!!!

BUT WAIT!  There's MORE!

They had 10% off!   $13.49!!!!

Was it their brand? The reason I ask is because I bought an off brand car charger which ended up killing both our phones! I took our phones in to be fixed ,which I had never got insurance on so I was sweating bullets, and the tech said that they are only supposed to honor malfunctions with brand name equipment. But since he was a nice guy he fixed them all for me for no charge. I am with Verizon not Sprint but I figured I would pass that along just the same.

I'm not sure Woo, but I would think they're third party products.

I usually buy my chargers and stuff off ebay and haven't had any problems, but I know what you're talking about.  You have to be careful, I blew up a calculator once by using the wrong adapter.  It actually started smoking!

But if you verify the polarity and the voltage usually you're ok.

I'll find out soon biggrin.gif

PS.  The battery looked like the official battery with the RAZR logo on it, but the chargers looked generic.
