Gotta work. but Norm and I are off to see the broadway show GYPSY  tonight at the PAC. We are looking forward to this.

Then thank god but we are off to Dallas on Friday.

Morning everyone.  It's been downright chilly here the past couple of days.......it dropped down into the 40's last night.  I don't want to turn the furnace on yet, but if this continues, I may have to.  Last week, I had the A/C on because we had a couple of 90 degree days.  Guess that's life in Michigan, the land of shovel and swat.

Good. We have been very open about everything. Our state treasurer just got busted for cocaine use. His family is VERY popular here and life long politicians. Not to mention handsome. Anyway that has helped everyone around me deal with this better. He is not seen as some crack head in a dark alley, but more the devil is in him and he needs help getting away from the habit. He has been to church every weekend since June and he has not been going for over 25 years, so that has helped too. We have just made sure to be busy every weekend and I have had a tighter grip on our finances. It helps that my best friend is a cop too- word got out that I ratted all his dealers out, which is not true, but it has kept his 'friends' at bay!

Howdy, just now checking in.

I've been having some hackers working away at one of my servers. I spent most of the night following them around cleaning up what they were trying to do. I've been watching very closely today but so far its been quiet.

I got my camera back today. I'm pretty impressed with Canon customer service. I called, they told me to send it in and they would take care of it. I sent it a week ago today, they got it Friday, fixed it, and I got it it back via FedEx today. It looks like the dark spot in the video is gone now. I will know for sure when I use it next. Kudos Canon.

We will get our new car on Friday. The dealer now has another truck to go get even further North than our car, so he is taking two drivers with him. They are leaving early tomorrow morning. Our driver thinks that he will come all the way back home Thursday. Its 550 miles up there and 550 miles back. 1,100 miles of riding/driving in one day would be one really long day. Either way, I should be able to go pick it up around noon. Yay!

Hm, I think the next time I buy a camera, I'll go with Canon.

Web, do you realize how far away Friday is? (At least, it feels like when you're looking forward to something!)

Yeah, I know, it will go slow. One good thing is that I will be busy tonight with church stuff and tomorrow night, I will start working on learning two new songs for Sunday. That will make the evenings go fast.

I think the whole idea of being tied into a car payment again is also making the wait a little easier.

I did the same thing- I pulled Zach out of daycare and then went and bought a new car with the money. Then 11 months later I had little E! Hope that does not happen to you!wink

I was to meet with my financial planner for our semi-annual meeting tonight, but I am simply too busy with work to leave. its ok tho, mostly its just schmoozing and I get bored of the sound of her voice....hmm
