I only get to catch real TV every so often, but I've seen a few episodes of House (I think there was a marathon one day or something). I love House! That's one I'll be adding to the DVD list (after we finish 6 Feet Under and then Heroes.)
I love House and SVU, and I miss them a little. I swore off cable for a few months, just to see what life would be like without TV being my main entertainment. So far so good - I spend WAY more time reading, and I love it!

I know, but it hardly seems worth the effort without cable...crappy reception. I'm happy just watching an occasional DVD and digging into my books, at least for now. Winter may be another story.

I just finished Son of a Witch and reread The Green Mile. Now I'm digging into some Buddhist readings, but I'm not sure what fiction I want to take on next.

Don't worry G-Gal, you're not alone. The only channel I can get in is PBS, so we watch a lot of that and DVDs, but we mostly read too. I just finished the Harry Potter series again (plus the final book). But I haven't decided what to read next yet. Maybe we should restart the book club?

Sounds good to me! I'm a book junkie and compulsive collector. I'm not sure if my tastes pair up with yours, but I'm curious...any fave authors or genres?

I like fantasy mostly, but am up to almost anything. My favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, Steven Brust, and Anne Rice. I think the last time we had a book club, we read a total of 2 books: Straight Man, and Marley and Me (though I'm not sure if anyone else read Marley and Me).
What about you? Are there any books that you've been wanting to read?
I watched it. It wasn't Grey's but it was alright. The medical things were interesting. When that got done I played Bionic Woman that I taped while I watched this. I liked that one- got some mystery to it.
