I only found out about this a couple years ago.  I wonder how many of you didnt know this:



If you look at your gas gauge, you will see a small icon of a gas pump.  The handle of the gas pump will extend out on either the left or right side of the pump.  If your tank is on the left, the handle will be on the left.  If your tank is on the right, the handle will be on the right (see photo below).  It is that simple!

Well, I can go to bed now. I've learned something new today!! My tank is on the passenger side and it drives me nuts. I've driven the car for 4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4-4 years and STILL have to think about it before pulling into the station.

That is just the fart alarm installed in the seats. It is telling you that it is sensing the presence of gas near your butt.
