I've started to play around more with the cool edit. It has some pretty neat abilities to remove background noise, but you have to be careful because if you remove too much of it the voice starts to sound computer generated.

I'm looking forward to hearing the Jon Anderson one, he was pretty energetic about it smile.gif

So, with the Dokken one -

First of all, it was great to see the guys having a lot of fun together, and to see that they don't hate each other at all. Jeff was in a silly mood, and the first station ID we had them do was for my husband's station. Their tag line is "The loudest rock", so that's why he went into "The frozenest rock" on ours. And George said, "Eskimos love it." It was so stupid, I had to leave it in.

Hey, it worked for my friend, Ed.

That night that he was listening from the motel and you did a shout out to him, he thought that was so cool. He asked me how many thousands of people probably heard that. I didn't have the heart to burst his moment of fame so I just said "I'm not sure".

yea didn't we hit a peak one morning- was it a christmas week show or something when we did a morning show together? lol that was somethin else...

I think right about then IPODs came out and that hit the numbers pretty good.

It was a lot of things. iPods were exploding, but the biggest thing was that Live365 stopped showing stations in the order of how many listening hours they had. We went from being in the top 10 of the listings to lost on page 22 or something.

Also, we had a major outtage that lasted like two weeks. When we came back it was never the same hmm.gif
