We stayed at the Imperial Palace so that we were right smack in the middle of the strip. smile

oh the buffet upstairs was pretty good too!!

Yeah saw that and we did the buffet too. We also did the buffet at Tropicana. I never ate so many shrimp! My belly hurt!

 oh sandy it is soo cool!!

one thing I will say is that the food is really good. that ellis island special would cost ya like $30 anywhere else on the cheap end. BUT THE SERVICE IN VEGAS SUCKS. one exception was the nice restaurant called Lawry's. but  your everyday restaurants? SUCK. they know you are hungry, no way are you going to go somewhere else  to wait another half-hour, they know you are a tourist and so are kinda trapped....highly recommend the buffets there. Serve yourself, don't need a waiter or a waitress who "wanted to be an actor, but ended up here...."

 very nice! its funny, no one who has been to Vegas that I talked to has heard of it yet- quite new. I liked that it wasn't a casino hotel- nice and quiet.smile

yes October is the best!smile

Speaking of restaurants there. We went out to eat after our wedding. We went to I think it was called Kokomo's that is in the Mirage. They didn't leave you alone! They were fussin the whole time. Really working trying to get that tip. But anyway we ordered shrimp ****tail and it was like 12.99 for 4 jumbo shrimp! weirdface
