I miss that a lot, too. I was telling JD it made me sad...I didn't have the shows as a diversion form the fact that it was almost time to start the work week again. Somehow, listening to the show and chatting on the forum helped me diffuse the anxiety of another stressful week ahead. And honestly, the shows played music I really enjoyed....except that Hmong and Heino stuff. bleh wink

i miss the variety, the ability to request (sometimes stuff i had never heard before), seeing what everyone else is requesting and learning something about them by what they like (or don't), 2fers, theme days...   hmm

i miss having my opinion matter. I thought it was so cool just having a say in getting a song added and then later actually having sent music in to be added was awesome! I really felt apart of something!

But in all I think it was the whole package. All the features including the forum made the place special. smile

I miss sending Riggs music to add, to hear what he has added that is new and to discover new music!

Well, if you want me to be fully honest, what attracted me the most to the station was the 80's format. I liked when a song would play that would give me a "Hey, I haven't heard this song in ages!" kind of feeling.

Over time, the music format got more and more diverse until it had mostly become background noise for me. I'm not saying that its anyone's fault as I'm sure its mostly my own lack of musical diversity that makes me feel that way.

I've mentioned before that the theme days usually turned me off and thus I turned the station off or listened to something else. There for a while, we were having theme days 3-4 days a week and I really lost a lot of listening interest during that time.

I was attracted to this station because it was an 80's station . . . as it expanded more away from that, it became easier for me to not listen, or listen to a podcast, etc. For example, as I think about it, its 2:30 pm and I have not had any music on all day and didn't even notice that until now. I've just been busy and haven't even thought about the lack of music.

What I will miss the most are times like Saturday afternoons when the six pack was on and no one else was making requests.

If the forum goes, that would impact me quite a bit because I would lose this outlet to people I consider good friends. Sure, I miss the station too, but it has not yet hit me as a major deal.

Forum is here forever Web. It's free and it's independent of my old sites.

So we might all still be chatting here ten years from now. Hopefully with a station to go with it again.

I miss having the obscure songs that we have asked to be added at our fingertips.

I would have never listened to any live365 station. I didn't have much luck searching for a deejay or station I liked. FFR was really improving near the end. At first, I really had a hard time listening except for when my request played or there was a live dj.

JD will tell you, I've got a pile of crazy stuff I hook up with during the day/nite.

Forever. That's the whole point. I'll never leave. Not even if you kill me.
