Morning everyone, while looking for another station last night Freeze-Frame Radio was listed as an Editor's pick on Live365. Finally!! At least the station went out with it's head held high!

Good morning all! I woke very early for no reason, so I decided to come into work and get on with the day. It's rainy and chilly here, but looking on the brighter side - at leats it's not snow!

good morning, folks! present and accounted for. i've already answered "yes" to the wrong question this morning -- "do you know anything about commercial invoices?"
sure, i'll handle it... i do need a break from my usual. if anything this will make me appreciate what i do on a day-to-day...
tulsa metro -- fog and 55 now; sunny and 78 this afternoon!
smiles everyone... smiles!

I too was looking around for something we all might like. I thought I may have found a temporary solution as it was the only station that let the listeners make requests. Upon further investigation, I found their music library only contained a little more than 1,600 tracks, and after about every 10 minutes of music playing there were some commercials (about 3 in a row), but it also had two other faults that I considered to be pretty major.........first, the "now playing" list wasn't updating at all. I listened in for a little over an hour, and during that time, the now playing list never changed, even when I threw in a couple of requests....it continued to show for an hour that a Fleetwood Mac song was playing. The other problem I found was when I first entered the site.....it had a "click here to listen" link, which brought up an obscure player that I couldn't get to work. I kept hitting the button, and eventually, the Live365 player came up. Needless to say, I decided that station wasn't something we'd all want to listen to since it didn't work in the manner we're all accustomed to.
As a side note, I'm home from work today and probably tomorrow too. I was outside playing with my dog before it got dark last night, and while trowing a ball for her, I put something out in my back.....I felt a "pop" when I did it, and it's very painful for me to move. I hurt my back earlier this year in the same place and was given some muscle relaxers at the time. Since I had some left, I decided to use them......if I don't feel any different tomorrow, I'll make an appointment with the doctor.

thats because the people who run live365 are friggin idiots. We wanted that for how long, remember the campaign we used to bug them about it? I think its their way of saying "don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out."
