i'd be wanting to scare the little kids -- i know, i'm bad. isaac asked me if this year we HAD to go to the haunted house again, and he about started crying when i told him yes...
I did have a couple of the children hiding behind mom or dad. I only had one boy that I had to "deal" with. Just start directing everything at the little attention sponge... he'll shut up after you trip him up too many times. Actually, mom came in and said junior should close the trap and let me do my thing.

LOL! That doesn't sound like a typical kid response. Does he get scared, or is it just that his mom likes haunted houses too much?
both! isaac is the 4 year old. last year the older kids and i took him to a haunted house put on by the local live community theater. it was cheesey to adults, but scared the poo out of him. we had a blast just watching him freak out!
you think maybe he's a bit traumatized?
