Our office is moving, we will be in the new building on November 4th. We have 12 years worth of client files and stuff to sort through and pack. hmm

Good morning DS! Wow, it sounds awfully chilly there. I bet the turning leaves are beautiful, though. Trees in our area are just beginning to reach their peak colors...a bit late this year, I think.

They are still doing the finishing touches on the new digs. We were supposed to have been in there the 1st of October.

Still morning all. I am having a CRAPPY week. Yes I said it! Time to find a new job feeling. My boss hired a 19 yr old bimbo to be my helper. I told him no and so did another lady in the office and he went against us. So I am not happy. I do not want to work with someone with retail only experience and comes to an interview with major cleavage hanging out!

The boy went to school to face the music- he let me put some make up on him first!

Still mad at the hubbyfurious MEN

Okay I must go and make myself more miserable and you all less!

yes indeed!  we hated to turn on the furnace last night, but isaac already has a cold.  i'm sure this is just a tease.  we'll probably be switching back to the a/c next week!  i just love all the beautiful shades of autumn smile

sparky, is the new office in the same vicinity? or the other side of town?  we were fortunate an moved directly across the street...

Good day all. I hope everyones day is going well.

I've been spending the last day and a half trying to restore some computers to their original condition.

Today I'm focusing on getting the old broadcast computer in as good of shape as possible. I'm still thinking that at some point I may get it all set up so that it can just be a box in one corner of my house that broadcasts the station.

Web was nice enough to save our request program files on his server backups, so if I can get something set up down the road we'd be all ready to go on day one.

Getting this computer in top notch shape will be a good first step toward eventually bringing back a slightly stripped down FFR.

Other than that, I'm busy selling some extra stuff on Craigs list and eager to get to work on some sales letters for the cleaning biz. I best get back to it all!

Aw, give the girl a chance...she's only 19. We were all that age once, and probably experienced varying degrees of naivety about how to dress and act in the workplace. At 19, she's coming from a different realm of experience and a different work culture...I'm sure you'd be apalled what is accepted apparel at our corporate offices, but that's just culture. Anyway, if she's receptive, a little kindness and gentle coaching might set her on the right track. smile

i most definately agree that the girl should be given a chance.  it's just that THE MAN apparently hired her with regard to her physical atributes rather than work experience.

Good afternoon everybody!!  I just got home from work and had to turn the furnace on...it was kinda chilly in the house!  Anyway, work day is done, now I'm trying to decide what to make for dinner.  Meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy sounds pretty good to me.  hungry.gif  

Ruby, I'm sorry you're having such a bad week. cry  As G-gal and DS both said, before you completely write off the girl, give her a chance.  She may have some useful office skills that she hasn't had a chance to utilize yet at a job, especially since she's only 19.  Everybody's gotta start somewhere.  And being young, she probably doesn't have a whole lot of experience as to what is and isn't appropriate work attire.  I'm sure you could make a few suggestions to her while being tactful about it.  smile
