I couldn't agree more. I thought this new DREAM TEAM would get this loser off.
Every day that passed, and every juror that got dismissed just put a knot in my stomach.
You can never know for SURE watching it only via TV & the newspapers, but this case seemed just far to obvious to me. 15 years ago I never would have worried he might get off, but after the O.J. case I no longer think evidence is always the determining factor in a jury's decision.
I'm glad I was around the studio to do it. I knew a lot of people would be interested in it.
In fact, even though I mentioned on-air that we would give a live feed we still lost about 15 listeners leading up to it. Part of that is because it was 3 PM which is when another group goes home from work, but part of it is most likely because they wanted to switch to a news station to listen in specifically to the outcome.
Or, maybe they left cus they didn't wanna bother hearing the feed.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGH!!! WHO KNOWS! I CAN'T OVERTHINK IT. I just gotta run my shift on the station the way I'd wanna hear it if I were a listener, and hope most people agree with me
I was one of the ones that left...I must have missed your announcement Cuz I was listening...I didn't know you were going to switch over...in which I lost out Cuz CNN's Live stream sucked...I got on thier site about 5 min til, and about 2 min til, there were buffer issues, and at 3 I got kicked off, and I couldn't get back on...Had I stayed right here I would have heard the feed....that'll teach me never to give up on the Great and Powerful Oz...er...Jeremy & Freeze-Frame Radio.
As for the verdict...I'm really torn...It was ALL circumstantial evidence(let him go)...but it was pretty Damning circumstantial evidence...and using hakams razor(did I spell that right?), the simplest explanation is usually the most correct...therefore I think the jury did the right thing.
I could not agree more. I, too, worried as each juror was dismissed. Geragos is a great lawyer, but thankfully the jurors saw through his tricks. Our justice system can be so flawed! The OJ comparison is right on. His is coming, and probably living "free" is not that great for him. I am glad the trial is finally over now everyone can move on... I wonder who will be the next Scott Peterson?!?
