For those of you that have tuned in, what do you think?

Are you listening via the Loudcity page or did you open a player?

Did the station launch easily for you?  Do you think it's simple enough for the average person who never tuned in before?

Anything you like or dislike about the launch process compared to Live365?

I can't use the loudcity player, my Mac didn't wanna know, so I am using the Itunes player, it sounds great so far, same old FFR for me, loving having it back!

I'm just listening through the LoudCity page.

I like how easy it is, and how listeners have choices. I mean, I clicked on Listen Live! and viola, I was listening. No downloading anything, no special software, and no extra windows.

I think its a lot easier.
I may be biased tho- isn't it grand not to have to deal with Live365 anymore!?!

I am lovin' every minute! I am tuned in through the main page. smile
Very simple. The only thing that I questioned was "did I have to be registered at LoudCity to listen" But you don't and then I ended up adding a profile there anyway.

Well, one of the BIGGEST selling points to me was the ease of launch. I used to get SO many emails saying "I can't tune in, what's wrong" from potential new listeners.

Usually their pop-up blocker was stopping the player window from opening, or there were other issues with them just understanding what they had to do. The launch link worked great if you had already used it and had the download in your computer, but first time listeners had to jump through hoops.

Of course, the SECOND biggest selling point was the lack of the "ARE YOU LISTENING?" thing.

I also REALLY love how at any time I can reallocate the streams to be higher or lower quality.

That's why on weekends we'll be able to have an amazing 128k stream.

I've been routing it through Mindows Media Player and the sound is great, given the crappy speakers built into my work PC. It's easier than logging in again and again, an unfortunate requirement on our systems here. hmm
