Does anyone decorate for halloween? I thought I'd post our decorations this year.

I was hopin to maybe get around to doin some pumpkins, but ran outta time.cry.gif
I am kinda shocked tho at the lack of lit pumpkins I've seen around this year!
maybe people just got fed up with pumpkin smashers and opted for other decorations?confused.gif

We have a couple paper ghosts hanging in the living room. We have some little bats that you stuff with news paper and those will be on our little tree out front. The boy and Mrs Web carved four pumpkins yesterday. They will sit out side on Halloween.

Thanks Web! I was telling JR how weird it is to have the kids dress up on the 28th and go trick or treating at 3pm. We do it on Halloween night and wait until it gets dark.

 Carving pumpkins is my daughter's favorite thing to do. She actually enjoys that more than going out and getting candy.hmm

our trick or treaters were out either saturday night or sunday afternoon depending on the neighborhood. Madison WI big halloween party was saturday night. I thought halloween was done!confused.gif

I used to decorate all the time for Halloween, but now that my girls have gotten older, I don't do it anymore. And this is the first year we didn't carve pumpkins because no one wanted to. cry.gif

Here in Saginaw, trick or treaters come on Halloween night.....little kids are out early, teens start coming around 8:00, but everyone has to be off the streets by 9:00 cuz our city has a curfew for kids.

I know what you mean Woo......I miss all the different holiday decorating since my girls have grown up. I still deck the house at Christmas though, even if I am the only one that still believes in Santa. biggrin.gif

i like the jack-o-lanterns!  cool cat!
our community has trick-or-treating down town (we don't have a mall), but it starts at 5:30 and only takes about 30 minutes to make the round trip.

when the kids get older i guess we're not so much fun to hang around with anymore.  at least isaac thinks i'm cool! wink

Sounds like you will have a "fun" night. I usually dont have a problem....she gets wired for a bit then crashes hard. I figure she will be in bed earlier than normal.



Does she get sick or just hyper?
