How do you read?

Do you read with just your eyes or your whole head? I was watching my coworker and thought that she had a tick! I figured out that she was reading her computer screen but her whole head moves instead of just her eyes. So when she reads fast her head kinda ticks back and forth. lol

I believe I just use my eyes but I've never had someone look at me to confirm.

I know I am weird.

I think I move my head a little, but mostly just my eyes.

I think I just use my eyes, I dont know. I know that people with no line bifocals have a small reading area so they may need to move a little bit to get a whole screen in. Web can answer that for us?? right web wink.gif???

Drat . . . its true.


That is what has bothered me the most with these glasses, the only thing in focus is whats right in front of me. I USED to use my eyes, now I have to move my head but only if I have to to full width of the screen.

Stupid bifocals.

When I'm reading a book, I move just my eyes, I think. On the computer though I have to keep tilting my head back somewhat so I can use the bifocal in my glasses. If all the monitors I use could be set up about 5 or 6 inches higher, I probably wouldn't have a stiff neck all the time. hmm.gif
