Mine started out kinda bad, but wound up being pretty good.

It was nice to finish it up with the ol' Sunday night shows goin' again. Although we still got a few hiccups to fix. It felt familiar and comfortable to end the weekend knowing the shows were on.

I watched a couple movies, both of them not so good. THE LAST MIMZY just left me feeling kind of empty and THE NUMBER 23 was just flat out annoying.

It was all made ok by an AMAZING Packer game though. Just an incredible finish to the game. Everytime I think Favre has peaked for the season he turns it up a notch. Incredible.

My weekend has been pretty good. Anna was sick most of  it. I didn't get the house as clean as I had hoped that I would.

Riggs, you are right (don't get used to hearing that)The Last Mimzy left me kinda hanging. Don't even get me started on The Number 23!yawn

I was able to win a few games of Bingobiggrin

Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon were all about getting the laptop running again. Not too exciting.

I did have a good Sunday morning though.

Usually when I'm playing bass in front of people at church, I don't "feel" much of the moment like some others do. Being in front of everyone makes me nervous enough, plus having to concentrate on the playing as much as I do, takes away from the feeling. Another thing that makes a difference for me is how much the congregation is into it. The last song we played Sunday was really cool. The congregation was really into it and singing out loud so I could hear them very well. It was an easy enough song that I was able to look out across the crowd a few times. I saw several people that were totally immersed in worship . . . It was a goosebump moment for me. smile.gif

Last night, Mrs Web made us some fried chicken. hungry.gif

saturday: mopped floors, laundry, groceries -- bought isaac some sh!t kickers. watched transformers (i was disapointed); even isaac didn't want to watch it a second time. hmm.gif

sunday: went to the mall bleh.gif and bought a hoodie and shoes for jake. fixed stuffed bellpeppers for supper (yum). missed cold case to watch vacancy -- it was just bad hmm.gif

Friday night, baked some brownies for a bake sale. They came out too crunchy.

Saturday, did shopping, and made an awesome supper of potato soup.

Sunday, made breakfast, got my car fixed, did laundry, and made an awesome supper of ribs and cheesy garlic biscuits.

MZ - Personally, I like crunchy brownies
Woo - Loooove boots! Very cool.

Friday: After work, went to see Scrap Metal, featuring Mark Slaughter, Gunnar Nelson, Matthew Nelson, Kelly Keagy, Joe Lynn Turner & Eric Martin. Show ROCKED!!! (And they did not do "Goodbye." smile.gif) Got lots of pictures and autographs and station IDs. smile.gif

Saturday: Slept really really late after having 3 late concerts in one week, and still having to get up early the next day for work. Went to see Candye Kane at a blues club. Very nice place, and fantastic show as usual. Got 2 of my Candye CDs autographed.

Sunday: Up early again to go to NYC for FMU Record Show. Then scooted a few blocks over to perform in a voice student recital (Did Shania's "From This Moment On" since I'd already worked it up for my best friend's wedding.) Performed very well. Accosted Fred Schneider. Got home around 9:30 PM. Watched a good chunk of The WHO Rockdoc on VH-1. LOVED IT!!!!!! Slept like the dead.

LS, I'll make you a deal, you take me along to a concert with you, and I'll make you crunchy brownies. These even had toffee in them.

That Scrap Metal concert sounds awesome!

It was! They did 3 Slaughter hits, 3 Nelson hits, 3 or 4 Night Ranger hits, 2 Rainbow hits, 1 Deep Purple song, 3 Mr. Big hits... I loved every second of it. As soon as it was over, I said to my husband "Do it again! Do it again!" because I coulda sat (well - stood) through it all over again. Great idea to get all these guys together!
