The Bad: Free Fusion Razor... WHATEV!

Via the freebies link we had going I got a free Fusion Razor. It's got five friggin' blades on it!

I have to admit that it's the nicest razor I've ever had. Very smooth shave.

Plus, usually my razors don't go dull, I wind up throwing them out because my whiskers get jammed between the blades and make the razor useless. I was considering going back to a single blade to avoid that.

But the fusion razor has an open-back design that let's you easily flush out the blades.

So today I went to buy replacement razors. TWENTY FIVE BUCKS AND CHANGE for FIVE RAZORS!

I'm sorry, that is now officially price prohibitive! TWENTY FIVE BUCKS!?!??!! weirdface.gif

man I just like my disposable Bics for sensitive skin. I am a sensitive man with sensitive skin.- like $3.19 for a whole bunch of them.

The shaves on those expensive razors are so nice....but expensive...I also find that you don't have to replace them as often.....BUT I've limited myself to 4 blades! LOL

That may be the route I go next. I thought paying $12 for five blade cartridges was bad for my Gilllete Mach3 was bad.

But I nearly fell over right there in the store when I saw $25.79 for the fusion cartridges!

Hmmm I don't think my hubby has tried his yet. Right now I am glad he doesn't use a standard blade very often.

You know, now that you mention it, everytime I see JD he has a heck of a scruffy look goin'.

I don't know if goin' the disposable route is such a good idea!

Brian swears by the Mach 3. He cut himself on the Quatro and decided that 3 blades was enough.

Personally, I swear by my Venus Divine.

(Sorry LS, my razor blade is one thing I just can't give up!)

I got mine this weekend. My hubby does the electric razor- I bought it ten years ago and still works great!

I personally use the quatro, ......


like my skin smooth....


cleans up nice enough even when my hairs get a little long....


buy my cartriges in bigger packs so cost comes down more

I gave my free razor to my dad.  He loves it!!   Then he was out to Walmart and checked on the price of new blades for it....he says he'll use the razor until the blades are dull, then switch back to his other razor.

yea I'd say in the last year I've gotten lazy that way. usually shave just once a week lately, and even then its when my face starts to itch.blankstare.gif
