The VERY first microphones that we used nearly FIVE YEARS AGO sold on Craig's list today.

I still have the two best microphones that I added earlier this year, but still I feel a little sadness seeing the original stuff go out the door.

I've already sold monitors, computers, and other stuff that went with the station, but the mics for some reason seem personal.

Maybe I shoulda kept em' and had em' bronzed for JD & I. hmm.gif

The guy who called about them has a HECK of a radio voice! Very deep and smooth. He says he does mobile DJing and PA work. In fact he's at a show right now and coming over after he finishes.

I'll have to see what kind of guy he is first.

I'm sure he'll notice the studio in the living room, if a conversation ensues and he seems interested I'll plug the idea smile.gif

Actually, it's sort of cool. Rather than collecting dust somewhere, they will continue to have a productive life! The places they'll go, what might people talk about through them?
