I've already downed a cup of coffee and haven't even made my to-do list for today. I have a feeling this is going to be a long day.

Good morning everyone! I'm here, and not tired but I still want to go back to bed! It's getting chilly and I just want to stay in bed where it's warm and soft.

i went to bed at 8:30 last night, but i'm still dragging this morning

spent most of the day helping the new guy. i need to catch up on my stuff now.

it's all fun and games...



oh, and just noticed that tg has a theme idea for today. she always comes up with fun themes

I made it to work now. yay

Man, what a day so far.

Someone else in the office set up a meeting with a client that they wanted me to be in on. The meeting was at 9:30, she told me about it at 9.

Then another client stopped by at 10.

Then I got a package with 2 shirts in it that were missing out of the order that I gave the client yesterday (for an event tomorrow), so I left her a message that I would be bringing them over to her.

It's for IU, and her department is in the building right next to 2 other clients, so I figured I'd make a couple quick stops to say hi and drop off catalogs while I was in the area. So I called those 2 clients, but so far I've only heard back from 1 (who said it was fine to stop by).

Then I heard back from the client with the shirts, but she's not in the building that I thought she was, and you have to have a special parking permit to park anywhere close to her building. So she'd come pick them up.

And then the same client with the shirts called back, and the lanyards to go with the shirts are 100 short, the company didn't send enough. And they need them by 9 am tomorrow. So I called the company, who said they'd have to check in to it and call me back.

They called me back, they're running the lanyards and overnighting it early delivery.

So I called her back, and told her I'd bring them over to her conference hall in the morning along with the 2 shirts.

And then one of the guys from the print shop came up, and they don't have the paper to go with another coworker's client's envelopes. That coworker was at lunch, so I called him, but he didn't pick up his cell. Well, the job is on the press, we need to know right away. So I wait 5 minutes, call him again, and finally got him and got the problem resolved.

I so want a glass of wine! But, I have that client (that I'm now making an exclusive trip for) to visit this afternoon. And if this rate keeps up, I'm going to have to stay sharp.

Oops, I forgot to breathe...

I really do love my job, but one of the drawbacks is that it is similar to working in a room of bacteria and viruses. I am feeling icky today For the last couple of days, I have had dizzy spells and now I am feeling a little sick to my stomach. I don't feel "horrible", but definitely not feeling great.
