I don't know how to promote it JD.  I've been sending out links to the station and forum in email to my Myspace friends that aren't already part of the forum, and I moved FFR to the number one spot on my friends list hoping it will help draw more listeners.

wonderful! can't thank you enough.smile.gif

lol I am thinking of goin all old school and creating cd sized flyers (like we once did) and just filling the cds at the public library with these flyers. that seemed to work a few years ago. The flyers said something to the effect of "If you love this cd, you might love FFR..." and more than a few folks sent me an email "HEY I SAW YOUR AD IN THE CHURCH CD!!" which was way cool. because if they bothered to look at the liner notes, where the ad was, they were real music fans.
maybe we should start that again.smile.gif

I know you promote on Myspace some, but have you thought of other online avenues? Craiglist maybe? I also know we have a mutual Myspace friend, Loca Motive, who is in the arts and does a lot to promote her perfromances...maybe she might have some suggested online places to promote FFR? I'd ask around, especially with Myspace friends out of the normal scope of existing FFR fans. Some may respond to an email asking to help promote the station or have good ideas on how to get the word out.

Oh, that's a good idea.  I'll have to start doing that for the CDs I get from the library.
