Where O Where is Darlene at a time like this! The evil empire is at it again! crying.gif

Steinbrenner offered his closing pitcher 15 million a year for three years yesterday!!!!!!!!!

THAT IS INSANE MONEY for a closer! Nearly 50% more than any other closer has ever gotten!

The Brewers have a great closer that just saw himself priced out of Milwaukee thanks to rich uncle moneybags in NY!

I hate to say this, I REALLY DO, because I like Steinbrenner and know in a lot of ways we'll miss him when he's gone, but the best thing for baseball is for this fool to finally be in poor enough health that he can't run his club anymore!

They've been claiming he's near that point for the last three years already.
