Well payroll is all done so most of my stress should be gone now! smile
I checked my bank account yesterday and my direct deposit was already in there- yay!
I woke up with a headache though.

It's all rainy here too. Supposed to switch to snow later.

Good morning all! It's chilly and damp here, but not too bad yet. We're expecting snow this afternoon that should turn into 1-3 inches overnight. bleh

Did I ever mention I despise and loathe Wisconsin weather?

Good morning.

We woke up to slick and snow. Its not a lot of snow, just enough to make the ground white, but it must have started melting a while and then froze because it is slick underneath. Its 25 degrees now with an expected high of 32. Yippee.

The boy gets out of school at 1:50 and is off until Monday. That means I'll be going home about 2:20 and hanging out there instead of here at the shop until Monday. Maybe I can get my billing caught up again today and Friday.

This is going to be a long, expensive winter for utilities. I had my propane tank filled here at the shop and it was $1.74/gallon . . . $600 to fill the tank. I've never come close to spending that much on propane before. I remember the first year I owned this place and thinking how cheap propane was. I think then I paid $0.43/gallon. Later it seemed terrible high when it got up to $0.65-$0.70 and now its $1.74. I think the highest I've ever paid was last year when it got up to $1.25.

WHAT!???!!! $1.74 / gallon? And we've never seen $0.70 ! In October we ordered 200 gal @ $2.00/gallon cos that's what we had money for at the time. Then we heard it had increased and would be around $3.00/gallon by January. I ordered another 130 gallons last week at $2.30/gallon to fill us to capacity.

Just trying to help you see the bright side, Web... evileye.gif

But seriously... do you know why there is such a price difference between here and there?

Morning all.

Didn't get a lot of sleep last night, with FireFly's plane getting in late and then sitting and talking for several hours, I/We only got a few hours.

But, we have a full day planned, so sleep will just have to wait.

Hope everyone has a great day, and if I don't chat with you before tomorrow, have a great Thanksgiving!

Wow, $2.00? I guess I'm better off than I realized.

No, I don't know why there is such a difference. We do use a lot more of it up here, with our cold winters, but I wouldn't think that would have that much to do with the price difference.

Hey JR, maybe you two can trade a few games of Battleship for a little nap time.

Good morning everyone!smile.gif

I thought that I would check in before me and JR take off for the day.

I waited at the airport yesterday from 3:30pm until 11:00pm for my plane. Then we had a 20 minute wait out on the tarmak waiting in line to take off. I was in the world's tiniest airplane. The cabin was 8ft 2inches wide with four seats across. The height of the cabin was 6ft 1in. Me being only 5'2", that really wasn't a problemhmm.gif My window was about 6 inches below my eyes, so I kept having to bend over to look out the windowblankstare.gif

I hope that everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving! We have a full day planned so I am not sure if I will be back on tonight.

well the cold front that is supposed to bring the snow finally arrived. I went out to lunch and it was cloudy and calm. I just got back and it is terribly blusty and rainy. that rain is to turn to snow about 3 oclock, they say.

Here I am, at my normal time on the forum again.  I'm always missing the fun that goes on around here during the day.  hmm

I just checked our weather forecast.......rain changing over to snow tonight with 2-4 inches expected by morning.  Man, I am sooooo not ready for this stuff again!

Hope all of you had a good day!  smile

Yes I did, thanks JD!  smile Dinner at Genji's was yummy and my girls gave me the newest James Patterson book so I'd have something to read, haha.  It was really nice to have dinner out with just my girls for company. smile

When hubby came home from his hunting trip today, he had a dozen carnations for me....those were a nice surprise since I seldom get flowers anymore.  So yes, I had a nice birthday....a quiet one, but relaxing.
