Awwwwwwww man!

I even SUCK at the PICKING THE LYRICS end of this game!

I thought I took some lyrics from pretty deep in the song that would throw people, expecially with the alien line.

The "Don't live your future" line, but I think it's "Don't bet your future".  Good one, though.  I was stumped for a long while.  O.K.  Here's mine, I'm better at answering than giving.

Light a candle blow the world away...Table for 2 on a t.v. tray.  It ain't fancy, baby, that's o.k.

Here's mine:  I watch the ripples change their size, but never leave the stream.

Piano Man by Billy Joel.

Try this one; "And in my heart, I'll pretend that you are here again.  Hear my crying out for you."

Awwww, come on, Mo.  This one is not that hard.  I'll give you a hint.  It's an 80's song.  Ha ha.

I think that's right, point for you, but to keep the thread going you now need to post lyrics...

ALL...I'll try and update the standings at the end of each week (or if it gets really busy maybe more often)

Got it - Meat Loaf, Life is a Lemon (I want my money back)

What about this one:

That came straight from a guy who claims he’s tastin’ her juice

That's a hard one.  Unless you have Bat out of Hell II: Back into Hell, you probably wouldn't know it.  That is Life is a Lemon by Meatloaf.  O.K.  Here's my next one.

Shake up the picture the lizard mixture with your dance on the eventide.  You got me coming up with answers, all of which I deny.

Ahhhhhh...StevieB, you beat me while I was trying to think up the next one!  Great job!    The answer to yours is Rumors, but I can't remember who sings it.  Still keep in mind the one I posted when I answered (too late to get any points).

I KNOW!

I couldn't beleive how quick they jumped on that Meatloaf song!

It was my ONE chance to FINALLY get some points!

Seriously man, i guess my brain is just wired differently, because other than the Meatloaf one EVERY SINGLE ONE of these has gone over my head.  AND I LOVE MUSIC!  I THOUGHT I KNEW MUSIC!

Quite frankly, I'm embarassed for myself and anywhere who shares the Riggs name

If it's any consolation, my father is even better at this than I am (but with 50s, 60s, and 70s music).

O.K., I was waiting to see if anyone would jump on it, but no one has, so..."When the Going Gets Tough" by Billy Ocean.

Next one:  A million lights are dancing and there you are, a shooting star, an everlasting world and you're here with me, eternally
