Its a chilly 18 degrees this morning . Mrs Web is cookin' like crazy and our friend will be here to join us for dinner in a couple hours.

We're going the ham route rather than turkey this year.

Morning all! Sorry that we are celebrating being free from your country Ultimo! Glad you are here though! Do you have a glad that the Americans are gone day!?!


Made the cranberry sauce and the injector marinade and have a pumkpin pie, made by the boy in the oven. Dinner is at 2- all are invited! Too much to do! I went for a nice brisk walk/run- now I am ready to eat!

E is watching the parade too! Hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! smile  We got 2 inches of snow during the night and it's still on the ground so that tells me it must be cold out. 

My brother called this morning at 7:00 with his traditional "goble, goble" turkey call. smile  The turkey's been in the oven for 3 hours now and we're watching the Macy parade.  Later tonight, after my dinner guests leave, I'm planning to watch Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation....my favorite holiday movie.

Ultimo, if you made the right airline reservations, you could have Thanksgiving dinner all day long here at different forum members' homes due to the different times zones we live in!!  biggrin

Happy thankgiving to all of you. I'm cooking for 5 today. BF is working till 4, so dinner will be on the table about 5. Made a homemade apple pie this morning... I love this day... cuz I love to eat!!
