Australian Pink Floyd Show

WOW!

These guys played for almost 3 hours last night here in Orlando. They opned with the entire Dark Side of The Moon, took a break and came back and played an hour and a half of Pink Floyd hits.

They are bunch of very talented musicians that hit every nuance from the Pink Floyd albums. Where there is that haunting howling sounds on a song they had two very talented female backup singers that hit every note just as I remembered them!

The light show was also very intense. Just like something you would have seen back in the day when Pink Floyd was touring...lasers, lights, video, etc!

If they hit your town, I really recommen it, especially if you are a Floyd fan of any stature.

I am jealous SG! I love Pink Floyd but only saw them in concert once. The concert was really about the experience, the merging of music and imagination in a way that is awe-inspiring. To this day, it was the best concert experience of my life. It had menaing.

Anyway, the tribute group sounds pretty cool! I wish I could have seen it!

Hey I saw a Pink Floyd Tribute show in Brisbane back in 1992! LOL the laser lights extravaganza were brilliant but as for the rest of the show...no.gif

It was billed as an amazing "MUST SEE" show but when I got there it did not take long to realise that the whole show was a mime! LOL I remember at one stage when "The Wall" was on...you know the part where the kids are singing...the lights shone on a dark corner to 2 or 3 kids standing there not even singing just looking a little mean! And I also recall the drummer getting up in the middle of the song and walking away and amazingly enough the drums were still going! Yeah the show really was amazing!
