Does anyone know...?

I have a package on a FedEx truck that is due to arrive today, the status is "on truck to be delivered".
If I keep the online package tracker open on my computer, will it automatically be updated when that status changes, will I need to refresh, or will it time out after awhile?

I just ask because I get tired of logging out, logging back in.

If no-one knows, well, I'll get the answer the long way and share it wit ya. smile

I'm pretty sure you just need to manually refresh the page.

I'm not sure if it's FedEx or UPS (I probably want to say FedEx because I don't like them), but one of them doesn't update right away. It updates when they plug their thingy back in and upload the data, it isn't instantaneous.

aaah! ok. we'll see how it goes.

I am guessing at this point they've arranged for the guy who does our normal 4:30 pm pick-up to drop this package off. But it says its been on a truck since 4:35 this morning (indeed if that info is instantaneous). So that'd be 12 hrs of that package being hauled around town on a truck. That doesn't seem efficient...hmm

The pick up guys don't normally do drop offs. So it's probably been delivered and just not updated yet. Or they lost it, FedEx has done that to me a couple times recently.

it's that little bit extra that keep people commin back, I guess.....after all you didn't tell us about the lamps and how sharp they were, but rather that they gave you CANDY!

oh I took one out to have a look at- very nice! I like the brass. I'll need to find some brass hooks and anchors to mount them to the wall tho- those were not included. which I guess makes sense. if you can hang them just about anywhere, it should be the owners choice on size and style of the hook.

That's funny Woo! Does your husband like fix-it stores like Menards? I know so many people who LOVE shopping at places like this (i.e. Lowe's, Home Depot, etc.) just for ideas of projects they can do.

he likes them, but it will probably be worse when we have a house to truly fix up. He recently discovered Menards and fell in love- lol

and for awhile everytime he took me to Home Depot I would start sneezing and coughing. I told him that I must be allergic! laughing.gif
But it doesn't happen as much anymore.

Hahaha! Funny you mentioned that, I always sneeze when I'm at Home Depot. I'm mildly allergic to the sawdust.
