I could never get the hang of Thursdays

Good day all.

Today is going to be a crazy day.  First, at work, I'm doing a logo for a new newspaper.  One person came in and explained what they want and showed me examples.  She also told me what they didn't like about the examples.  I created the logo, and now I'm getting changes from a different person telling me to put the things back in that they didn't like.

This afternoon my husband has a doctor's appointment.  The thing is, we're not quite sure what it's for, he just had one last month.  We'll go in and see.

We usually do our Christmas at home on the 21st so we don't have to travel with our presents.  Well, we're leaving on Saturday, so we need Friday night to get things ready.  So we've decided to do our Christmas at home tonight.

It's also my sister's birthday.

Hello all! Good luck with everything Mz! Happy b-day Mz's sis! Well tonight we get to figure out what vac time we actually want to take over the holiday. We originally were already supposed to be off starting today. This is when we were planning on going to Arizona to see his folks but that didn't work out. I have plenty of time left but my husband only has a few days- one which he will need to get his wisdom teeth pulled. I am hoping for a productive day so I feel better about taking time off. I also got the ok to work at my desk instead of helping with the consumer Christmas party tomorrow. But looking at the calender it's gonna be a hard payroll to complete even if I don't take any additional days off. We have Christmas Eve & day off as well as New Year's Eve and day. We'll see how it goes...

hello.
I had a pretty bad day at work due to the incompetence of others. I called them out on it by sending out an email on which I included the director of operations. I am giving a no confidence vote to those running the show in certain areas of the company. This should make for an interesting day. I'm just tired of the repetative idiocy.

Morning all! Today is my office Christmas luncheon. We are dressed up and going out. Bimbo called in again today- she worked 4 hours this week, so I am busy.


Happy birthday MZ's sis- she is what age- 14?

My sister is 15 today! My mantra has become, "Please make good choices, please make good choices, please make good choices."  Luckily, I think she still looks up to me, so hopefully I can have some good influence on her.  I've got a picture of her from Thanksgiving from my cell phone.  I'll upload it and post it.

yesterday was a day of speaking up. I said a few things out loud and was proud that I did it tactfully and not the first thing that popped in my head. Later on I talked to my husband and found out that he had also been vocal. I was just mad that he missed a slam on a person though. He promised me he would get it right next time- lol


unfortunately no eggshell treatment- my phone is ringing more than usual. hmm

Finally got that picture off my phone.  It is a cell phone picture, taken at night, in my car, while waiting in the Taco Bell drive through to get her a fruit punch, but it's a picture at any rate.

 I think it may just be that time of year woo. a lot of people trying to get stuff off of their plates, so they just toss it without thinking. a big game of hot potato...

Sorry! E was a lot of fun this time. She hugged everyone and took turns with everyone- reading to them or vice versa, getting her hair done, singing and dancing and even had one girl turn on Disney online and they watched Hannah Montana!
