Good day all!  I have a very busy 4 day weekend ahead of me.  Luckily, things are dead around work, so I don't really have to catch up on anything before I go.

This is my first day off for Christmas break!clap.gif
I had planned on sleeping late, but for some reason, everyone has wanted to talk to me this morning.evileye

I took Anna to see Christmas lights last night. I waited in line for 2 hours!It had been a while since we had gone to see them and now I remember why I hadn't taken her in the last couple of years! We did have a good time though. She was so excited to see all the lights and she was absolutely precious talking about themaww

Good morning everyone, It actually rained here last night and melted most of our snow away. So much for a white Christmas. Looks like AC and I will be enjoying a couple of dinners out as there were a few gift certificates on my desk this morning. One to the Olive Garden and the other to The Corn Exchange.

Morning all! this is my last day til January 3! I will be busy too! We just had a homemade breakfast and exchanged gifts! It was fun! I am gonna take the kids to see Alvin and the Chipmunks tonight so I can wrap, wrap and wrap. I have wrapped nothing! I need a few last minute things still too and grocery shopping.

It is pouring here! But yeah for us we are in such a drought!

The corn exchange?

LOL

A restaurant called "The Corn Exchange?"

That strikes me as a really funny name for a restaurant.



We went out on our annual light tour last night too. It has become a yearly tradition for us that we stop and get candy, then drive all over town looking at lights. We looked at most every house in town last night . . . took us about an hour.


I'm home with the boy today. He's off school until Jan 3rd. I think I will take him with me and we'll go out to the shop and I'll spray some finish on the table I'm working on. It doesn't take long to spray a coat of finish. There is nothing for him to do there so he gets bored quickly if we are there very long.

We did our wrapping last night. Then when the living room was full of scraps and mess we had two different sets of company come by. no.gif

I have a feeling I couldn't eat at the Corn Exchange. You know, I fully expect one of my relatives on my mom's side of the family to get me popcorn for Christmas.

we have a dining hall here in town called The Grain Exchange. Fancy wedding receptions are held there even. My understanding is that before trading cards, rurual farmers were pretty bored, so they came into town to exchange grain.smile.gif

when I told my supervisor that this payroll was gonna be hard to do because of time off, she just said that she knew I could do it and that we have been in jams before and made it.

So therefore I am the only one worried!
