I am at work it's Sunday 6.50am ...and still uncomfortable from being in a cast! I'm being treated really well by the boys who crash tackled me though! LOL the guilts are the greatest!
It has been so difficult to work but as I said the boys are going out of their way to help so lol I am supervising and they are doing..!
Christmas is looking to be a great day though it makes me sad to be so far away from my family and friends. The Resort here are putting on an orphan Christmas lunch for us since we are all in the same boat here. Everyone working here has no family here and are here on their lonesome so we are all together for the day! Plus the head honcho in Brisbane sent us up a plane load of presents to make up for being away from everyone and the remoteness of the location. He said we needed some luxury and fun in our lives! It will be followed up by the traditional game of cricket...though I cannot play this time and a jam session...which I cannot play guitar this time but I can sing! I have much to sing about! I have a joyous heart right now!
Anyway just wanted to drop in and say hi! I miss being around here but I have a very full life and though restricted a bit due to my fractured collar bone I am still making the most of life!
I miss you all so much!
If I don't drop in again before...I wish you all the merriest Christmas ever! Have a safe holiday! Oh and remember...I shall be celebrating before all of you again! These time differences are still wacky to me! And I'm going into the New Year before all of you as well!
Thanks SG! I will just take each day as it comes though my arm is starting to really itch under the cast! I want to rip it off already! But I at least have a beautiful work of art as an aboriginal artist painted my cast for me in traditional artwork!
It is friggen boring here at work this morning! Only have 1 inhouse guest but still have to show up for work! LOL it is the Duty Manager, the Chef and me sitting here bored out out of our skulls! Already had breakfast cooked for us and we been sitting here watching a crappy kids cartoon...the only station running in the morning! The 1 inhouse guest walked in and laughed his head off at us and then joined in! 4 more hours of boredom to go!
Oh well...getting paid to do very little today and until after the New Year! Then still getting paid to do very little due to wet season! Not many people in town for the next 5 months! Gonna be lonely times ahead!
