What did ya get for Christmas?

Probably crossing the line here...

Do you mean a B.O.B. (battery operated boyfriend)?

Hi all! I was spoiled this Christmas for sure,  but I received some very thoughtful gifts. My sweetie gave me a gift certificate for a spa day and another for a getaway at our favorite bed and breakfast - I am so excited to use them! He spoils me so. laughing.gif My sister gave me a DVD of the Vagina Monologues, which I wanted for so long - it is such an awesome tribute to women. Mom & Dad put together a photo album for me that chronicles my life and my family. It was very touching to see all the pictures and remember those times or to hear the stories. The best part, though, was just to spend time with each family member and share some laughs.

My Mom did that for me too last year G....the album not the vagina thingy! biggrin.gif
She did a scrapbook from when I was a baby all the way thru high school. It was like my life in pictures. smile.gif

Cool! Isn't it fun to see those pics and remember that part of your life? or if you don't remember, to hear the stories? I loved seeing how young and hip my parents looked back then, too. And the funny thing was, some of the pictures are hard to discern if it was me or my sisters - for a couple years I looked just like my sister April, and in many others I look like my sister Tara. It's weird because of how different we look from each other now.

I heard the Vagina Monologues was supposed to be very good.  Let me know if you like it G-gal.  I've been thinking of picking up a copy for myself.

I know you'll love the spa gift certificate!  I wish someone would have gave one to me.  I found out there is a day spa that recently opened here.  I might use the Christmas money I got and treat myself to one of their services.

The difference between men and women, if a man saw a dvd laying in the store that said The Penis Monologues he would pick it up and tuck it in the back of the shelf or throw a towel over it or something.

Hi all. The girls got a new computer from their dad.

I'm so impressed with myself because I was able to get it working!!! The only thing I haven't bothered to do yet is get the printer going. I think I need to go to the HP website in order to download some updates. That's what the message said anyway when I initially tried to download the software that I had.

Anyway... the girls got me a pair of PJ's and a sweater. Granny and Pop bought me a new pair of dress boots and a new DVD player since the one upstairs went on the blink. I also got the annual Christmas card w/ cash!!

We got "Hairspray" which we plan to watch tonight. CD's include Colbie Callait, 26 (Hip Hop hits of 2007), Taylor Swift, and Timbaland (I'm taking that one back... I didn't notice the parental warning on it. It still shocks me to hear such language in music!!)

Kids got two games for Christmas. The most fun is Catch Phrase Musical Version.

Younger one got several Webkins and older one got Clothes.

I also got the Movie Hairspray!. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! jOHN tRAVOLTA WAS PERFECT

I should add here . . .

JD drew my name for the FFR gift exchange.

He knows I like Stanley Clarke so he emailed me some Stanley Clarke mp3's.

Thanks again, JD.
