RE: Bedroom Posters 80's Style

You can tell him the my rock star part, just not the part about how he can't play. He's not bad or anything, but he doesn't really know any songs or anything either. I still like it when he plays.

Hey Molly, maybe someday, I can go on vacation, bring my bass, and he and I can play badlly together.

I didn't have any posters in highschool, but later in tech school, I had a couple. One was a 1984 Corvette. The other was a nicely attractive young lady standing at a video game console with her had wrapped around a big joystick. The caption said "Turn On a Video Game". Yes, it was rather suggestive, but for me, it made me think of the fun times I had playing PacMan.

Ok I found the pictures of my New Kids covered bedroom walls. Gag if you must, but I am sharing! LOL! This is 1989 I think. And I just kept adding. The more I liked a picture, the closer it was to my bed! But some are on the headboard! Crazy!

I did come to my senses some. These are the pics that were up just before I moved out in the mid 90's.

Wow, that makes me feel better about my early/mid 90's Jonathan Brandis craze.

I had the Jennifer Beals Flashdance poster--My sister went through a Howard Jones thing and the other sis had Nagel prints everywhere.

Wow.  Where would walls be without teen magazines?  They just made it so... easy!

Jonathan Brandis was a cutie.  What a shame.

I don't know if any of you remember the posters of the women's faces with the bright makeup?  They weren't real pictures.  They were artists extreme closeups of, like, women's eyes with unreal makeup where you could see refections of horses or something in the eyes.  All kinds of fantasy-ish faces with perfect proportions of a really gorgeous woman...with bright blue hair or something.  Kind of Nagel-ish...but way more fantasy-ish.  I had dozens of those.
