hi, y'all... just stumblin' in to wish everyone a fantabulous 2008! no big plans for us tonight. just a bottle of wine and maybe a movie. black-eyed peas is the "good luck" dish in this region. posole is the "good luck" dish from where i'm originally. i have both already made, so perhaps we'll have double the luck!

Good day all! My hubby had to work today, but I don't. So I had to get up to take him to work, but I came home and went back to bed! Usually when things like that happen, I just stay up, but I wanted to be able to stay up late tonight.
We have a friend in town, and he's bringing Brian home from work and we'll do a little Christmas with him. Then tonight we're going to Comedy Caravan to ring in the new year. I think it'll be a fun way to celebrate.
