For me- it's Monday. My eyes are droopy and they burn. I needs more sleep! Gonna be a long week. As soon as I got here I got hit with what an idiot my nephew is and how he will probably be back in jail. He is already on a ankle bracelet but refuses to live by my sister's rules and has left the home. She says she is done with him and he is on his own. I hope she means that. I thought she screwed up when she jumped through hoops to get him out of jail earlier just before the holidays. Some people got to take the hard road. He is one of them. He is 18.

We have registration today so I will be MIA. Please pray for my family, we are having some $ issues. The hubby has been off work for over two weeks, not really intending to be. His dental issues have now put us in a bad spot.

Howdy folks.

My wife took a vacation day to work on her mom's estate stuff. She's home with the dog today.

I just about got into an accident this morning. I was going by the high school street and a girl pulled out . . . not in front of me . . . but across one lane of traffic and right into me. Had I not taken the sidewalk, she would have ran right into the side of my van. She just looked at me and smiled as we were driving side-by-side with her on the street and me on the sidewalk.

Yesterday, we found out that a friend who has been fighting cancer has lost the fight. The doctors have now said there is nothing more they can do so they told him to go home and try to make the best out of the time he has left with his family.

Yeah, its Monday.

It sounds like everyone else could use some coffee.

We just got internet back here at work, and everything is already starting to pile up. I have a client coming in in 10 minutes.

In good news, it's 62 here with a high of 69 today. I'm wearing open-toed shoes in January!

I've been fighting off a bug for about 24 hrs, and it seems like the bug is winning today, so I stayed home from work. I think I'm just going to sleep a lot. that usually helps.

Good grief, I just stopped in to let everyone know I'm alive but won't be around much today. I read through the posts so far and see that there's a lot of sad stuff in here hmm.gif

Sorry about your nephew Woo, it's always sad to watch someone be self-destructive like that.

Web, I'll pray that your friend can enjoy what time he has left and that his crossover is as peaceful as possible.

Web, I'm glad you were able to avoid an accident.  Very sorry to hear about your friend; I hope he won't suffer terribly. 

Woo, sorry to hear about your nephew.  Maybe this will be the kick in the butt he needs to turn his life around.  

JD, hope you'll feel better soon.

I have my day at work in already, and am now back at home.  I had to be to work at 7:00, got out at 1:30.  It's been raining off and on here most of the day, but it's very warm outside right now.  smile

I hope the rest of the day goes better for everyone!!
