Happy Saturday all!! Not much on the agenda today, will probably do some laundry then run out to pick something up for dinner later on.
Yesterday my oldest girl came home from work and told me a co-worker had her car stolen as she went to leave work. I guess a 14 yr old and a 17 yr old approached her in the parking lot on the pretense of asking when the next book sale was going to be. They then knocked her down, grabbed the keys, and took off in the car. The police caught them about an hour later; no damage to the vehicle luckily and the girl is ok except for being frightened and having a bump on her head. So I had to sit down with my daughter and go over some safety rules again about having the keys in her hand and going directly to her car when she is out, don't stop to speak to anyone in a parking lot, if a gun or other weapon is shown give the car up right away, etc. I hope the two teens will stand trial as adults for grand theft auto. They certainly knew what they doing!
Oh man Ghost, I'm sure that's enough to give all of them a fright.
Right now, I'm in Chicago. Brian and I are up (that whole sleeping away from home thing), but our friends are still in bed. Not sure what the plan for today is other than the show tonight. We'll see.
I slept great last night! It might have had something to do with me working a 14 hour day
